My first post after the fresh new look of my website! I better make it good!

A lot of the random quotes that appear on this site are from Calvin and Hobbes – my all-time favourite comic strip. Its so refreshingly original that it stands out from almost all other strips. Peanuts too is a classic. And Bill Watterson, the man behind Calvin and Hobbes happens to be a great fan. Here is an article he wrote to mark the end of Peanuts.

And here is a speech he delivered at the Festival of Cartoon Art, Ohio State University in 1989 called “The Cheapening of the Comics”. The title is self-explanatory!
