This is way too late! I have been busy like I mentioned in an earlier post. But I feel that these two articles deserve to be mentioned, in case you have not already come across them.

Dumb Fuckers
This is an Indian Muslim’s blog and he feels justly outraged at this act. No high-flowing idealism here – just an honest anger at what he sees as a big blow to “every foreign visa aspiring Muslim who actually wants to do well in life”.

Let’s look inwards now
Barkha Dutt’s reflections. She talks about the need for introspection. To quote, “But what about looking inwards? Can we confront the fact that Political Islam may be growing roots in our own backyard? Are we brave enough to consider the possibility that the assimilation of the Indian Muslim has not been as successful as we like to believe?”
She is one journalist I immensely admire. I have featured her writing before here and here.
